Beginning November 4, 2026, the Town of Discovery Bay will start Phase 1 of a two-phase solar and parking improvement project at the Discovery Bay Community Center.

This project will provide shaded parking, help keep vehicles cooler, improve visitor comfort, generate clean energy, and reduce the Town's energy costs, saving thousands per year!

What to Expect During Construction:

• Limited Parking: Approximately 16 parking spaces will be available during both phases of construction.

 

• Construction Timeline: Parking disruptions are anticipated through December 23, 2026. This timeline is subject to change.

 

• Plan Ahead: Visitors are strongly encouraged to allow additional time for their visit and review the attached Parking Advisory for more information.

We understand that these temporary restrictions may be inconvenient, especially for those who regularly visit the Community Center, and we thank you for your patience and understanding as we work toward these improvements.
